October update - Market Season's officially done!
August and September have been a whirlwind for Momma Tong. We‘ve been busy at the various farmers markets and worked hard to perfect the added new menu items. We were able to offer samples in August and September and it has been wonderful to showcase our flavours to market goers. Our Spicy Pork Bulgogi and Japchae have been welcome additions and very popular! We are seeing many repeat customers (thank you!) and feel very blessed for the continued support for our small business.
Our kids have been out at the market with us each week. They’ve been a great help and are learning skills like smiling (even behind the mask), speaking clearly, handling transactions and overall, how to engage in conversation … priceless. This has truly been a family affair.
The market season is officially over for us and the question we are asked is, “Where can we get Momma Tong now?”
We’ve been planning for this! We have been busy setting up collaborations with other amazing business owners and are excited to offer our products through their stores and platforms.
Starting in October, you’ll be able to order online through our website and pickup your order at the following locations:
- Sarah’s Kitchen in St. Albert
- Banh Mi Cali in Edmonton

A recent collaboration was with The Public Food Hub and we were able to reach more customers through their platform. We were very pleased to have had the chance to work with them.
In November we’ll be attending Whollymades Nosh - Food Festival in Sherwood Park (check our website for the schedule). We’ll also be at St. Albert’s Indoor Christmas Market every Saturday, held at the Enjoy Centre.
We look forward to continuing to provide our customers with easy and tasty meal ideas and keeping you warm with our soups throughout the winter season.
